Responsible Gaming

This page sets out what this site can and cannot do about safer gambling, alongside general practical advice for anyone who gambles. It does not describe any operator's tools, checks or account features.

Scope

This site is a set of static pages listing operators. It has no account system, no form and no server-side application of any kind. That means nothing published here can turn on a deposit cap, a loss cap, a reality check, a cooling-off period or self-exclusion, and nothing here can check whether such a control is active or enforce one. Controls like these exist only inside an account held at an operator's own site, and they are arranged and managed there, not on this page.

Nobody's age is verified on this site, and no gambling takes place on it. Any age check happens at the destination a reader reaches after following an operator link. Every page of this build, including this one, repeats an eighteen-and-over restriction, and each of the ten operator listings ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice. Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site — each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point on the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published on this page.

No advertising or behavioural profiling network runs on these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader based on past behaviour.

Help

Every page of this site carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au, and responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au. Those links are the only outbound links on the site that carry no sponsored marking; they are set to nofollow and open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows them.

Practice

A few habits reduce harm regardless of where or how someone gambles.

  • Decide the amount before starting. A figure set in advance, away from the moment of play, is easier to hold to than one decided while already engaged.
  • Treat that amount as spent the moment it is placed. Thinking of it as gone rather than "still in play" removes the temptation to keep going in the hope of getting it back.
  • Never chase a loss. Increasing a bet to recover an earlier loss usually compounds it; the loss already happened and a bigger bet does not undo it.
  • Keep gambling out of borrowed money. Money that is owed elsewhere carries a cost beyond the bet itself, and losing it creates a second problem on top of the first.
  • Take breaks. A short pause interrupts the momentum that can build during a long session and gives a moment to check whether the amount and the mood are still what was intended.
  • Involve someone else early. A second perspective tends to notice the shift from entertainment to something else sooner than the person inside it does.

None of this advice depends on any feature of this site: it applies wherever a reader chooses to gamble, and any account-level control that supports it has to be set up at that destination.
